New Remittance Advice Format and Envelopes

Alaska Medicaid is pleased to announce a new Remittance Advice (RA) format for Alaska Medicaid providers.

The new design groups information by topic and claims action required, making it easier to read.

RAs will also be double-sided and some will arrive in a redesigned envelope. The new RAs will continue to contain all of the same helpful information, organized by sections, including the remittance check, paid and denied claims, EOB status codes, remittance summary, RTDs, and Claim Check Edits.

Be sure to read your RA each week to stay informed of provider news and events, and to follow up on any pended or denied claims.

If you have questions, please call ACS’ Provider Inquiry Unit at 907.644.6800, option 1, or 800.770.5650 (toll-free in Alaska).
